This data set is from an experiment that varied the total amount of food present and the proportion of that food that was animal or algal tissue in the diet. We maintained crabs on the same diet for 8 weeks, after which we quantified their reproductive effort and physiological condition. Note: These data resulted in Griffen et al (2012) Ecology, Fig. 2.
